Leonard is a CPA and Licensed Business Agent with more than 25 years’ of experience in businesses. Working as the Director of Planning and Analysis for American Express International Inc. he coordinated the planning cycle for the Australian and New Zealand business units including developing strategy, economic modelling and budget build ups.
As Director Controller at American Express International Inc, he was responsible for a team of 80 and the effective and efficient control of the Australian and New Zealand legal entities to ensure that risk and exposures were minimised in the areas of fixed assets, trial balance, reporting, vendor payables, inter-company charges, local cashiering, tax accounting, compliance, payroll processing, internal control and travel back office functions. Twice he was awarded the company’s highest quality award for contribution to the establishment of a shared service centre for finance in New Delhi.
Over the past 14 years, Leonard has focused on driving growth, profitability and efficiency in a “hands on” practical way with businesses of all sizes. Peter is a seasoned senior executive who has been responsible for leading and guiding the successful growth of service related businesses over the past 3 decades.
Peter has formal qualifications in Engineering (BE Chem) and has completed an MBA with a focus on marketing and international business.
He has worked with large multinational organisations as well as smaller enterprises. As business unit manager he was responsible for the positioning and growth of the businesses under his control. These responsibilities embraced both directing the marketing activities and selling activities of the organisation.
As managing director of Chemtrans Asiatic he was responsible for taking a troubled startup opportunity to a position of sustained profitability with an expanding international customer base.
The implementation of a transformative sales excellence program saw significant performance gains in AH Plant Hire. The program has since been successfully implemented in a number of smaller organisations.
In his consulting career Peter has developed the strategy and guided the growth of a number of businesses in diverse industries. He is a founding director of Asia Pacific International Consulting (APICON).
As a director of Ku-ring-gai Financial Services Limited, Peter has been an active member of the Marketing and; Community Engagement Committees as well as Deputy Chairman.

Clive is a thought leader in risk management, crisis management, decision-making, management and leadership. Originally a computer scientist working in machine learning, Clive moved through IT and change program and project management with some of the UK’s largest companies, before combining an academic career in management with business consulting, and most recently extensive experience as a senior higher education executive.
Formerly a Senior Research Associate at the Judge Business School and a Fellow of Hughes Hall, Cambridge University, Clive has worked or taught at highly ranked business schools across Europe (Bradford, NIMBAS, ESC Toulouse, ESC Grenoble). Afater eight years in New Zealand as Professor of Management at Lincoln University, he became Dean of Business at Western Sydney University and then Assistant Vice Chancellor (Strategy and Policy).
He is presently President, Asia Pacific International College, and as Principal Executive Officer sits as an executive director of the College, reporting to its governing board. He has become highly experienced in dealing with regulatory issues!
An experienced business consultant, his work with corporates includes the development or supervision of projects associated with Ford, GM, Deutsche Bahn, DHL, Rabobank, Royal Bank of Scotland, Halifax, Coca Cola, Shell Chemicals, Phillips, Nestle and PGG Wrightson. Dr André Smit
Dr André Smit has had an international management and education career spanning 30 years and working as a leader of teams and as a developer of people. He had a successful managerial career working in a variety of roles with diverse global organisations such as 3M, Westfield and The Venetian in Macao. During his years as an academic at Southern Cross University in Australia, he was exposed to the complexity of a university, and the importance of balancing organisational sustainability and the academic freedom to develop a learning environment.
In 2009, André took up an Associate Professor position in the School of Management, Leadership and Government at The University Saint Joseph in Macao to teach and research in areas where previously, he has been a successful practitioner and he was involved in supervising and guiding MBA and PhD students in writing their dissertations and lecture in MBA and Licentiate classes.
